Ricketts released.

Trouble maker Rohan Ricketts has been released by Spurs. He made six starts and two substitute appearances this season.

David Limbersky's loan arrangement has concluded and the midfielder will return to Czech side Viktoria Plzen.

Paul O'Donoghue, Nicky Eyre, Michael Malcolm and Owen Price have also left the club.

Everyone at "The Shelf" would like to wish them all the best of luck for the future.

Yeah why is he a trouble maker - is this based on the unfounded rumours that are continuously circulated? Bit unfair on the lad if you ask me...

I'm waiting for feedback as to why Rohan is/was a trouble maker. I didn't even hear of any rumours. I actually wanted him to stay. Considering his age he's in the Arnesen criteria isn't he ?

Ricketts clearly has some ability, but he has expressed the desire to leave to get more first-team football (possibly with Glenn at Wolves) and it could well be a good sign if Frank and Martin believe he is just not going to cut it in the next incarnation of the Tottenham "Dream Team". But yes, why is he a troublemaker?

I heard a bad rumour about him...not gonna repeat it...not gonna judge him on it either as there are far worse playing footie but don't think he fit with the squad...bit too flighty for me...he is not the future for spurs

good luck to him and all those cast aside etc

From what I heard he was a little light fingered down in N5 plus his overall attitude was disruptive in the dressing room.

Ask people over at The Topspurs board about him and Fred Downey.
