Edman sold apparently
According to the Rennes official website Erik Edman has joined them on a three year deal. They even have a quote from Edman saying:
"I hope the switch will suit me and make me a better player in a good league"
Rennes said:
"Swede Erik Edman has signed a three-year contract."
There is no word as of yet from Spurs but if true it must mean Lee is signed and just awaiting the work permit to be confirmed. However it does not fit in with the two players for every position philosphey (10 in midfield) we have been heading for since Arensen, and now Jol, took charge of transfers. Today looks like it is going to be very interesting for everyone involved with Tottenham Hotspur.

Edman should never have been sold he was a quality left back... now it means are only left back is Pyo what with atouba gone and ziegler going out on loan its madness !
and why oh why do we need 6-8 central midfielders ???

Let wait and see when it's officailly mentioned. I think Edman is a steady left back but he doesn't get forward enough and support Reid.
I'm loving the fact that we've signed Jenas I think he's quality reckon it means that either Davis, Brown or Pedro will go though.
Definatley need a striker, Kuyt would've been ideal but any of the strickers we've been linked with will be good replacements for Fredi........shame we didn't go for D. Bent!

STRIKERS!!!!!!! is Jol planning on switching system to 4-5-1 with all these midfielders?Keano talking with toffees.wots wrong with some depth.Kelly was left back against Chelsea.Should have kept Edman to fight Lee for place.Hopefully get Govou or that Italian striker.COME ON YOU SPURS!!

Keane MUST stay! We will be without Mido for 4 games and RK & JD just dont play well together. Who are we going to play against Liverpool?
We need a loan signing for a big player AND to sign someone like Kuyt now or in Jan.
We are abviously going to be playing a new 3-6-1 formation.
Don't understand letting Edman go. Maybe in Jan once Lee has ajusted well to the Prem. We let Kanoute go without a replacement. I can't see Livorno selling the top striker in Italy for £4m.
