Will Spurs Batter the Mariners?

Spurs have a difficult Live Sky game tomorrow night against highflying Grimsby Town. If ever there was a banana skin for Spurs to slip up on then this is it.

I expect a changed line up against Grimsby, as Jol will look to use the large squad at his disposal. Cerny could well start in goal resting Robinson for more important league games. I expect Kelly to slot into right back because Stalteri was so bad against Villa. King should continue his comeback and either Naybet or Huddlestone will be alongside. Lee will continue down the left as he is our only left back. I don’t see Davids being rushed back for this one either so expect a recall for Mendes or Brown or maybe even Sean Davis, putting him in the shop window. I would think Jeans would play in the middle again as he needs games with his team mates. Aaron Lennon will probably go wide right with Reid wide left. Defoe and Keane will be up front battling it out for the starting position with Mido against Fulham on Monday.

As long as Spurs go out with a good attitude then we should batter the Grimsby team tomorrow but any complacency could see Jol under “pressure” for the first time.

oi 10.05 do the words Newcastle and Stevenage mean anything to you!! No such thing as a battering with a team playing well at home...you see. Our squad is too big. But this is Jol's choice now, hmm lets see. Hope he comes good but Kanoute should have stayed and wished Ziegler had stayed and Reid gone on loan!!

Highflying Grimsby Town?? In their league maybe but they are about to mess with the bigboys!! No contest here and i would expect something in the region of a 4-0 win.

I'll be pleased to see a good performance and any kind of win. Lower league sides, on her home turf...for them its a cup final, we all know that. I'd love to see Dafoe and Keano spark together....how good would that be. Ironically i'd partner Rasiak with Keane for this.
