Tottenham Hotspur Vs. Arsenal.

It is time. The big one. The most anticipated home league fixture of the season. Tottenham Hotspur vs. The Scum from Woolwich – Woolwich Arsenal to be precise.

It has sadly been 6 years since we last savoured a victory over the old enemy from the occupied territories. Goals from Iversen and Tim Sherwood saw us run out 2-1 winners. Things have changed since then though. We have had 4 different managers so it is no wonder we are looking for our first victory since then. However we now have our strongest squad for quite a while, settled management and our best start to a Premiership season. Couple that with Arsenal not having won away from home all season and an ever growing in jury list then, with a little bit of luck we shall be celebrating a famous victory over the scum.

As I write this I have just heard some very sad news – Henry is a major doubt for the goons on Saturday after aggravating a groin injury that has already kept him out for a month. However this is based on what Wenger is saying so I wouldn’t be surprised if he ran out at WHL on Saturday. However cheating Ashley Cole is still injured. Shame. Judas may make a return to White Hart Lane if he is brave enough.

Spurs have very few injuries to worry about. Paramot is still too far from his come back as is Gardner and Routledge. However Davids is suspended which is a blow.

Spurs will start with England’s number one in goal. King and Dawson will be the defensive rock in front of him with Stalteri and Lee on the flanks. The thought of Stalteri at right back scares the crap out of me as although the scum have problems they still possess quality and pace. I would prefer to see Kelly here but then he was slaughtered at The Library last season so the midfield will have to protect this potential weak spot. In the middle of the park will be Carrick and Jenas. On the right we shall have Lennon who should hopefully get forward and skin the filths left back. Davids is injured so either Reid will play left or Tainio. Tainio is the direct replacement for Davids so I expect it will be him. Up front will be Mido and Defoe.

Steve Bennett has been named referee. We need to thank the FA for having some common sense here and not giving us Riley or that other twat Styles. If we have some decent refereeing and a bit of luck there is no reason why we won’t be 6 points clear of the scum come 3pm on Saturday.

Fingers crossed!

P.s. My video is still available to watch. See the previous post.

(I really like your team this year though. I think you will be in Europe next year for sure.)

Spurs probably do have the best chance in a decade to beat the Arsenal. Spurs have a full squad made up of a lot of young and eager players desperate to make a name for them selves in Spurs game of the season. Arsenal on the other hand are crippled with a number of key injuries and even if Henry and Campbell play , they still will not be at their best. Probable line up for the reds will be
Lehmann
Lauren
Toure
Cygan
Clichy

Pires
Gilberto
Fabregas
Ljunberg

Bergkamp
Reyes

This team lack a power base in the midfield, leadership in defence and obviously lacks the blistering pace and movement of henry .

However I feel overall they are still a better team than Spurs and as long as Spurs do not resort to strong arm tactics, should come out on top against a Spurs team still only at a promising stage of their development.

Hope it is a clean free flowing game and think will end ... Spurs 1 Arsenal 4

compared to the last six years where arsenal hav been streets ahead of us in every way possible, this year is something a little different........WERE 3 POINTS AHEAD OF THEM AND HAVE CLOSED THE GAP MASSIVELY IN JUST A FEW MONTHS!!! even though they still posess quality, we do too and me saying this isn't a dig at the scum, it just shows how well we have done in the managerial market as well as the tranfer market.

HOPEFULLY WE'LL ALL BE LOUD AS PER USUAL BUT LETS TRY AND GET THE PAXTON ON THEIR FEET, WHAT AN ATMOSPHERE.....CANT WAIT!!

I just wish the scum had a fan base worth bringing with them, not the sad bunch of girls they have. It gets boring outside these days with them locked away for 3 hrs. Still with any early kick off we can wait around for the twats.

"Steve Bennett has been named referee"

"If we have some decent refereeing"

Bennett refereed the game at WHL last year. He gave Arse a penalty and failed to rule out 2 of their goals for offside.

Decent refereeing from him? No chance

At last, a North London derby with something hanging on it. Last time that happened was you lot hoping to spoil us winning the title in 2004. Oh how we laughed at your celebrations that you had managed to get a last minute equalizer, while within minutes, we would celebrate winning the trophy Spurs hadn't got near for decades.
This time it is different. No titles on the line (no change there then for Spurs), but for once gooners and yids alike recognize that there is a method to team building at WHL that has been missing for decades. Likewise, doubts are there about whether the arse can keep up their exceptional standards this year despite spending less money, yet again than their oldest but no longer most important rivals.
If Tottenham win it really will mean more than just bragging rights for a month or so.
If they don't, I reckon freefall to the usual mid table position will be the consequence.
Have Spurs got the bottle for it?
I doubt it.

I find it quite amusing that the Arsenal fans comments on this website are generally eloquent, and well structured , where as the spurs fans comments are short sharp, aggressive, and punctuated with coarse vile insults. It probably reflects the contrasting fan base.

Arsenal fans generally more cosmopolitan and well educated and Spurs fans generally local, underpriviledged, uneducated, and neanderthal in their tribal affiliations.

Sad but true.

The Arsenal to prevail by 2.0

what did I tell you, Bennett rewarded the cheating cunt Reyes for his play acting which gave them the goal. Not to mention never giving any fouls on Mido (especially the one in injury time) and letting Lehmann get away with HIS play acting
