Spurs win five on bounce plus goals

Spurs beat Reading today thanks to a Robbie Keane penalty five minutes or so before half time. See the handball and goal below.

    Why is this being called a "controversial penalty"? Steve Coppell has also had a bit to say about it. To my mind the player simply reaches out and grabs the ball. That's a penalty!

    I agree. Steve Coppell has said that he is disappointed with the 'controversial penalty' and also that on another day they would have got something from the game. Yeah right - on another day you would have got done 6-0.

    I agree. If it hits your hand in the area it's a penalty. All this 'hand to ball, ball to hand' rubbish is another 'glass half empty half full' argument. It seems that every manager that comes to WEHL has a whinge about bad decisions as if they were expecting to get the points.....a few years ago maybe.
