Kaboul almost done

French centre back Kaboul is now 99% a Spurs player and will be announced next week according to reliable sources on COYS and FTL. Also Ghaly has played his last game for Spurs and will be sold during the transfer window. No great loss there as his performance against Blackburn was up there with the rest of his games - absolute drivel and I for one will not be disaapointed to see the back of him, especially after his utter disrespect for the Spurs shirt yesterday.

COYS!

fuck ghaly, also fuck gardner, lee, ekotto, murphy, tainio, mido! all a waste of space, sell them to nothin teams like bolton, pompey and middlesborough. Buy some class, a left winger like nani (future ronaldo) or an actual decent attacking midfielder!

I know who are the bigger wa*kers and that's the Park Lane lot for chating those "songs" at Ghaly.

Well done lads - you know how to knock someone when they're down. T*ssers!

NEVER EVER slag off a player who playes for Spurs. The guy obviously wants to play for us and tries bloody hard. Harder than Defoe and Lennon who's attitude has stank these last 2-3 months. Especially Lennon. Lets start a chant about him being a c**t hey?

Most of you so-called fans are a disgrace! You demand loyalty from the players and call them 'Judas' if they leave to improve their chances of winning something, but you show no loyalty in return - I can't believe anyone wants to sell Lee or Tainio after the performances this year and Gardner has been brilliant since his return. As regards Ghaly, I believe that most people desrve a second chance and if he apologises and MJ wants to keep him, then we should get behind him - He played rubbish for 30 mins against Blackburn, but he's won us quite a few games this season with important goals and assists.

To anonymous 3:11.

First, Gardner and Tainio were outstanding against Blackburn and deserve a huge amount of credit. Both of them made so many crucial tackles that I lost count.

Secondly, Ghaly, Lee, Ekotto - give them a break. They have all done a job for us this season. Maybe not the best players in the world but you can't fault their efforts.

I was in park lane on thursday night and was embarrased by the reaction to ghaly throwing his shirt on the floor yea it was bad but does any player that pulls on the spurs shirt deserve that no i dont think so.after he had his teeth knocked out at pompey he's earned my respect and i am sure he will be still here next year and deserves a second chance as at times this year has looked a good player to have in the squad just he lacks consistency but how can he get this when he never has a regular run in the side, i agree he shouldn't be in first eleven but has something to offer.also im fed up of hearing about berba and the so called top four since when has chelsea been a bigger club than spurs wankers!!!.....

Just thought I would share something with all the spurs fans regarding Kaboul, I am an english spurs fan living in france and work in a warehouse full of french guys (obviously) most of them are arse loving w*****s but the ones i do talk to have told me that kaboul is the real deal , big, quick and switched on he played recently in Auxerres 0-0 draw with lyon. When I told them the reported price we are going to pay, they said that we will have an absolute bargain. I for one am really hoping he is pulling on a spurs shirt next season!!!!! COYS

You just have to look around the net and if Kaboul is as good and has as much potential as it is being widely said, then 7.5m is probably a good deal, you get what you pay for and Spurs know this. People did question whether Berbatov would be just another Rebrov, which if you saw anything of him beforehand would know that was impossible. Anyway what would we have to pay for Curtis Davies or Anton Ferdinand? and we surely dont pay 7.5m for a foreign player of that age these days unless he is that good, but most importantly if he is that good in the english league 7.5m is small potatoes. We must trust the club and see if they do get it right.

Mate, If you had a season ticket or even watched match of the day you would see that Teemu Tainio is one of our better players full stop. He is our only midfielder with ANY balls and his injuries are simptomatic of his ballsy displays,. If we had other players with his commitment and aggression then we may well have not given so many leads away! Players such as Jenas who is a waste of a lillywhite shirt should go along with Ghaly, lee, Murphy, Mido, Gardener and praps Defoe too - even tho I love him, he needs to be a first team permanently and Keane blatantly edges him...

Don't we all want the same thing? The players do too, so as supporters shount'nt WE er ,support? Now the modern game requires you have a big squad and we are a young building side looking to break into the top four. How anyone here can say Gardner is not good enough for the spurs squad should be ashamed of themselfs and should extract their heads from the clouds.Lee has been much better this year, ekotto has'nt even landed yet,Tainio is just our best center mid,ARE some of you really fans,or what? you just want easy silverware bog off, i want GLORY sometimes its worth waiting for.

Gardner, Tainio, Lee, are all quality. Ghaly Murphy Mido are crap and need to go quickly. I am a season ticket holder in the shelf and I have never seen Ghaly have and average game let alone a good one, then he disrespects the shirt and the club. Bye Bye loooooser.

totally agree with some of the other comments concerning Tainio. Anyone who has a bit of understanding of football and is a WHL regular knows how good a midfielder Teemu is. His determination and aggression are very important in that area of the park and he always gives 200 %. He is 'the tiger'.

And please, get of Jenas' back too. He is a very underestimated midfielder and was sorely missed against blackburn in the first half. His bursting runs are feared amongst the opposition and he keeps going. That's a great asset to have in your midfield. I honestly think that our midfield is good enough. We only need a box-to-box player as a back up for Jenas. And i'd love to see Gamst in our shirt, considering our delivery on set pieces is embarrassing.

I am a spurs fan living now in holland, from mauritius. We cant just critised players but some are not up to the standard to lift spurs in top four and we must agree with that. If we want to challenge the top four, we must booster our defence and midfield. Our defence is to fragile and we lack power in our midfield. Just buys 2 good defender and 3 good midfielders.

Ghaly is a quality player with a bit of passion running through his veins.
Def like him to stay. scores and sets up a few.
Tainio is classy also.
Gardner has to go - clumsy and unreliable.

After the crap that the famous Park Lane and a few deluded bandwagon jumpers have given Ghaly and Jenas in recent times, would you blame any of these "players that will take us forward" for turning us down in favour of the likes of Everton or Blackburn?
A friend who works for Portsmouth FC told me that Pompey are looking to put in a bid of around £25million for a "Spanish star". I dunno if it is real, and I can only speculate as to who it might be, but if it's who I think it is, and that is Torres, why would he want to go there and not to us?
I wouldn't be surprised if it's because of the fans, because it sure as hell isn't anything to do with the manager, the football, European football or the wages....!

ghaly isn't good enough for spurs but stop givin him a hard time! but hes gotta go. but tainio is a hard workin tough tacklin player who is definatly good enough! i would like to see ledley in midfield if this kaboul guy comes! i fink we'll let far less goals in! we defo need a new left winger and perhaps a lb!

ive read up on kaboul and he looks like he could be a real quality signing...

for people possibly leaving...

tainio- he always tries hard but is a bit boring, keep him though

ghaly- i cant stand him. he occasionaly will bring a bit of fire into it but i just dont see enough consistency.

lee- he does well enough to stay on board but we could do with somone a bit better.

ekotto- i haven't seen him for a while, but he looked pretty average when i saw him.

defoe- i love him but he hasnt really produced as much as i would want from him, and if hed be happier elsewhere and we could get big money, then let him move on.

gardener- not great but not a starter if were fit so leave him.

murphy- not even sure we still have him but if we do let him go, we simply have too many center mids and he doesnt stand out.

mido- he looked great last season but he has been absolute rubbish this season. when berbs isnt playing, i prefer defoe and keane to mido and one of them. yea we would lose our target man, but wed gain someone that knows how to play football.
