New shirt leaked? - Pictures
Apparently this is the new shirt and was on the Spurs website earlier today. It has now been removed but thanks to the various posters on FTL, Glory Glory and COYS! who spotted it. Some like it some don't but there is only so much you can do with a white shirt isn't there.
Rumors continue that the 125 year celebration shirt will be from the double winning era.
Finally, sorry because of the lack of posts recently - I aim to up the ante again as soon as I can!

Doesn't look a huge amount different to this seasons, just missing a bit of blue.

A £2 white V-neck t-shirt with some logos on it all for just 40 of your English Pounds - what a great celebration of 125 years!
What a waste of time and money and hardly a celebration more a 'give us more of your hard earned money' ploy.
7:25 PM, May 01, 2007
what a rip off...bring back adidas...haven't bought a shirt since adidas and cant see myself doing so if these manufacturers keep churning out this sub-standard crap.
Adidas or find a good shirt designer Puma...sorry :-(
7:28 PM, May 01, 2007
are you joking?
puma have made the best shirt probably ever for us and this is no different.
and Elegant white shirt with the cockeral on it, what else you want?
and it's hardly gonna be the quality of a £2 shirt is it...
7:32 PM, May 01, 2007
I Agree, Puma is best we've had in years, and I believe they are the perfect match for spurs, anybody disagree should check out thier clothes stores - carnaby street - Fantastic designs, hope we keep puma for years to come, a great pairing.
8:00 PM, May 01, 2007
it wasnt on the official site as the official launch isnt untill the 12th may. it doesnt really matter what it looks like enough people will buy it anyway
8:03 PM, May 01, 2007
7:32 - You obviously haven't got any of this years shirts, they're crap quality.
8:03 - Yes it was on the official site, in the shop area but has now been removed.
8:31 PM, May 01, 2007
that is fuckin shit.
8:48 PM, May 01, 2007
Looks like this top fits better from the neck line. Also think the adidas shirt was a great one, although i also liked our kappa tops as they fitted really nice. Not much of a kappa wearer, but really like those.
I also have a really old top in my cupboard - v neck, Holsten and hummel, with arrows doing down from the arms. Must be early 90's!
8:51 PM, May 01, 2007
I heard it was going to be red with white sleaves with the logo, we'll do anything for money on it
8:54 PM, May 01, 2007
Quite a nice, no-nonsense shirt design. If this is the actual shirt, then i hope it is accoumpanied with white shorts and white socks. But as this season's shirt is a celbration of 125 years i thought it would be radically different for one season only. I do like the simplicity though.
9:04 PM, May 01, 2007
This is gorgeous, a classic looking kit reminiscent of the best 60's and 80's kits without the over-design typical of so many awful football shirts.
Let's hope this is no red herring and that the team play football as good looking as the shirt next year.
9:09 PM, May 01, 2007
TRUE SPURS FANS WILL LOVE THIS SHIRT. IT IS THE SHIRT WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR OVER 40 YEARS THE LAST SHIRT WAS GREAT JUST LIKE THE MID 60S TO MID 70S SHIRT AND THIS ONE IS JUST LIKE THE EARLY 60S
YOU CAN NOT BEAT A WHITE SHIRT.. I WOULD PAY 40 £ JUST FOR THE BADGE ALONE.
IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT THIS WAS GOING TO BE THE STYLE BECAUSE OF WHAT THE SPURS WEB SITE SAID TRADITIONAL
9:09 PM, May 01, 2007
I WANT THIS SHIRT NOW...
IT GOING TO LOOK SO GOOD THIS SUMMER.
THIS SHIRT REEKS CLASS.
9:18 PM, May 01, 2007
My god this is a great shirt I love the writing all over it but can not make out the words (embossed). Also just love the badge it only seems like yesterday I was buying the 1882-1982 shirts
9:30 PM, May 01, 2007
i think the Puma shirts have been the best we have had since, Hummel, Umbro, Adidas and Kappa
you do the math
9:39 PM, May 01, 2007
Plain white with simple blue badge and Puma logo spoiled by huge red square dominating the front of the shirt. May as well have put a cannon underneath it. Hate the fact that Mansion is a gambling outfit. Dirty money. Without Mansion logo would have been a fine retro style shirt that looked like a Tottenham shirt should. Dump Mansion. Club could have had LG insted at the outset. It is not as if we are strapped for cash. Prefer round neck but appreciate link to 50's and 60's style. 81 my favourite. The sporting cockerel.
10:06 PM, May 01, 2007
That's not the new shirt.
If you zoom right in you can see the blurred edges of the Cockerel and Puma logo where it's been photo-shopped.
Honestly, every year we get a mock up about a week before the official release, anyone remember the LG shirt from last year???

Poor old Chavski!!
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahaahahahahahaha!!!!
10:26 PM, May 01, 2007
This is the actual kit, I have been told that this was put onto the live site by accident. If you want different then wait for the new third kit. If you thought the brown was different then wait for this years!
(Also shorts and socks will be white)
10:40 PM, May 01, 2007
Got to agree, the Adidas shirt was the best we've had.
10:45 PM, May 01, 2007
Just screams double winners and quality to me... less is always more & if you want silly stuff plastered all over it, go support Reading. Know your history.
Mesmo.
10:55 PM, May 01, 2007
Oh, and nearly forgot. £250 million for the Carling Cup, shrewd investment Roman... I BUY IT!!!
Mesmo II
10:57 PM, May 01, 2007
The reason the edges are blurred is because it isnt a real shirt - Puma will produce designs before hand and why should they aim for perfect quality photo-shopping, if they went for all that effort they might just as well produce a real shirt!
In previous years this kind of thing has happened and the shirt has materialised.
I believe it's done on purpose - they are testing the water, monitoring for reactions and then acting on the basis of what they hear. That's just my theory though.
10:58 PM, May 01, 2007
i swear i saw a childs t-shirt in the shop on sunday that looked exactly like that, dont think this is the real kit.
11:05 PM, May 01, 2007
nah they wouldn't be testing the water - if the release date is 11 days from now, then they'd have to look over all the feedback, make changes if necessary, then put it back out there.
i personally like it, the whole simple, "less is more" thing - last shirt i really liked was the all white Kappa one just because it was simple.
and to all those who moan about tight shirts, you're just a bunch of fat f**** lol
11:08 PM, May 01, 2007
i agree with anonymous
11:09 PM, May 01, 2007
kit's not that special considering it's meant to represent 125 years, this years 3rd kit looked better and I hope it's gonna be a bit better quality then this years shirt I've never known a shirt fall apart after only one season it's total crap I agree with the bring back Adidas kit campain I sure won't be forking out 40 plus quid on this one till I'm sure it'll survive the season.
11:23 PM, May 01, 2007
honestly guys, if you want to have tradition, then this is as close as it gets. remember the kappa shirts that us fat blokes couldn't wear..(without looking daft)..at least puma thinks of us
11:59 PM, May 01, 2007
WOW!! im so shocked to see so many fans who share the same opinion of our jerseys as i do. I worked for the club in seasons 02/03 & 03/04 and had mentioned to the gaffer that our product dept needs to re-think our jerseys in a serious way!! Our damn motto is "NEVER RED" but we have a bloody red sponsor logo on home jerseys!! WHat the hell. Puma aint too bad but Kappa was absolute crap!!
12:01 AM, May 02, 2007
I wish they would release a commemorative version with no Mansion logo - I can dream...
12:19 AM, May 02, 2007
Seriously I can't stand these cheap looking shirts that double in size with a slight blow of wind. Puma have made some decent looking kits for other teams they just need to start trying harder with ours (preferably something a little more figure hugging)
12:27 AM, May 02, 2007
i like it. imagine it with plain navy shorts and white socks, will look great. and plain white in europe. coys!
12:35 AM, May 02, 2007
My cousin designs the spurs shirt, and i know for a fact that mansion will be written in Chinese next season. This might just be for europe, the club has not decided yet.
3:23 AM, May 02, 2007
So the rumours about our new sponsor being LG are a pile of **** then..?
3:35 AM, May 02, 2007
Do they sell retro shirts (WITHOUT SPONSOR) in the spurs shop?
Personally I'd rather be retro than out of date, if you know what I mean.
3:39 AM, May 02, 2007
CAN WE NOT FORGET THE SHIRT FOR A MOMENT AND JUST HAVE A LITTLE CHUCKLE AT CHELSKI FOR ONCE AGAIN FALLING SHORT, £350,000,000 WELL SPENT EH JOSE?
8:23 AM, May 02, 2007
A CLASSIC shirt with a CLASSIC design, all the way from the GLORY GLORY DAYS!!!
These are the shirts that fans cry out for, but it's only special seasons they get them. Look at Celtic fans, crying out for the 1967 design that won the European Cup - for over 20 years! Next season they get it because it's the 40th anniversary. It will be their biggest selling shirt EVER!
This will probably be ours!!!
I think ANY fan would agree, that the classic v-neck all white harks back to special times, and if this is the only season we can have it for another 20 years, then bring it on!!! COYS!!!
8:33 AM, May 02, 2007
V neck? NO way, nice shirt spoiled by the v neck. please no
8:33 AM, May 02, 2007
this is dirty hog shit. best shirt ever was dark blue adidas. I wouldn't wear this piece of wanky fucking shit unless the quality was a thousand times better than the current jumble sale ones.
8:46 AM, May 02, 2007
white v-neck with logos
they must of thought long and hard on how to celebrate 125 years ho hum
9:05 AM, May 02, 2007
r.e paddy
were you struck on the head with a heavy instrument ?
this what the fans are crying out for ?
my son who usual threatens to cry if i dont buy a shirt ,says dad why is it so disgusting ,his words .
mine are mentioned above v neck with logos i could of thought of that on the bog ,ask kate moss to design it lol
9:09 AM, May 02, 2007
great shirt. Plain, simple and effective. Who wants adidas stripes or big patches of shit on a football shirt? back to the old days, i love it.
9:28 AM, May 02, 2007
Love the plain white shirts, but v-necks are crap, and the Mansion logo is crap. You can't go for a subtle shirt design with that logo. The red monstrosity dominates the shirt.
10:29 AM, May 02, 2007
you are all freaks, get a life. its a shirt. doesnt affect how they play you zzzzzzzzzzzzzzeds
10:30 AM, May 02, 2007
Good top, classic style, some of you have no idea about taste, your probably the type that wear football tops when you're eating your dinner at home. This top is special it has a good seventies look, punma designs are cool - get with it.
10:51 AM, May 02, 2007
Yes, the shirt matters! It matters to the fans. In my opinion, this is a great way to celebrate 125 years of history, its respectful and in keeping with the current premiership trend of less is more. Simplicity is the key, lillywhite is the colour. Mansion logo is a massive spoiler. Would be great to somehow incorporate the mansion logo in a less RED way. If it were smaller and in black sat beneath the puma logo and the proud cockerel, now there's a thought.
11:02 AM, May 02, 2007
you lot crack me up. so the sponsors logo has red in it, big fucking deal. all i read about on here is 'why can't we just have a plain white shirt', which you've now got, and then you STILL find a reason to complain. are you that insecure? the fact is you'll buy it anyway, and it's the closest to a 'real' spurs shirt we've had in decades, so get over your pathetic whining PLEASE
11:18 AM, May 02, 2007
if less is the new more in shirts lets have a white string v neck vest with logo ,lovely and not to mention classy
12:57 PM, May 02, 2007
I hate the shirt we've worn this season, and I love this one
4:06 PM, May 02, 2007
This is exactly how the shirt should look. Plain white harks back to the good old days. The v neck will look much better than the round one, it looks like a proper football shirt no poncy lapels or blue bits. This is another step in the right direction after choosing to play in white in Europe. As for those of you who dislike the Mansion logo, I'd rather have that than have to sell Berbatov or Lennon to get cash. Wake up people its the real world here. Ideally we'd all like to have no logo.
5:06 PM, May 02, 2007
i would buy this style Kit every single season barcelona style

BLOODY RED ON IT!
Some celebration; 125 years and they put the colour of the club who's bloody shadow we've been in for most of that time.
7:24 PM, May 02, 2007
there's red on it because thats the mansion logo, idiot. do you think they will rebrand because of us?!
personally i think the shirt looks great. classic design of the glory glory days. will look great in europe and a neck the right way round for a change!
i'll pay 40 quid for it.

Puma stooges alert!!!!!!
Quick lets all back up the our poorly thought out Puma shirt posing as genuine fans like radio stations dedicate songs to imaginary people to fools listeners into phoning in.
9:10 PM, May 02, 2007
It's a perfect style of kit for Tottenham Hotspur... hte name oozes class, and so does the shirt. I know the red mansion logo won't go down well with some, but i've a feeling they might just release a Special, special edition without all that guff on it! Only hoping the shorts are plain navy, and the away kit is an exact reverse of the first, and I'll be in kit heaven! Totally agree with whoever said that THIS is the kit we've been waiting 40 years for... why the hell else do you think TOFFS have been such a success... Football fans, (and us Spurs fans in particular) CRAVE the past, the history, the heritage, and the iconic Pictures of Danny B being held aloft with various trophies in THAT KIT! Very impressed, and excited... almost took my mind off the 'Push & Run-in' for Europe!! COME ON YOU SPURS!
7:44 AM, May 03, 2007

I love that one of the most heated debates I've seen online recently is about the new Spurs shirt...
Does this shirt excite me? No.
Does an intense fight for European qualification excite me? Yes.
10:04 PM, May 04, 2007
that shirt is quality. more clubs should start doing that. keep it simple and tradishional. none of this badge within a badge lark like man u. or worse, a red shirt with white sleves :) not too keen on our sponcer tho cos of the big red square. it'll be better with just the writing but theres nout u can do bout that i suppose. but yeh i like it!
1:27 AM, May 06, 2007
i love the shirt and i wil def bye it this year bt it is excatly the fukin same as last year i dnont see how they have even fought of the 125 years except for the little 125 years under the badge.
i mean all i need to do is colour the blue bit in white on this year kit and its our new kit i come on you need to change it a little bit.
and these shirt dont stretch a bit not even an inch i dont relly like the fitting of the puma kits addids was quality atleast they chenged it around a bit but i am a loyal spurs fan threw and threw and well wat eva it looks like im going to bye it watever come on you spurs i want a top 4 finish next season give da ufea cup to arsenal see if we do any beter dan da scum at the champions league!!!!!!
9:21 PM, May 06, 2007
Couldn't in all honesty give a toss about the red on the shirt, really. It's predominantly white, it has the cockerel on the ball, and it is worn by the Spurs players.
It's not predominantly red, it doesn't have a cannon on it, and you don't have to be French to wear it (although with the comings and goings at the Lane lately, it's hard to tell! lol).
I guess people just need to find a fault somewhere with everything.
10:30 AM, May 07, 2007
So, any news on away/3rd kits?
6:43 PM, May 08, 2007
So many spurs fans named anonymous.. who'd have believed it!?
6:41 PM, May 11, 2007
There's no significant change in the shirt, I mean I'd prefer the previous shirt over the new one. But tell me one thing, are you sure this is the original Spur shirt? Because I don't think they can perform such a huge blunder by accidentally uploading the picture and removing it then.
