The board finally speak as Ramos says no.

Levy and his minions have finally put out a statement assuring us the Jol's position is safe but he want to see a top four finish putting the pressure on. Levy's massive U Turn was in the style of a huge oil tanker. Took ages to come but it finally made it in the end. However the U Turn only arrived because Ramos doesn't want the job!

It appears that Kelmsey was made a complete mug by Ramos and was used to get a better deal at Sevilla. He turned us down earlier today to stay with Sevilla leaving Levy and Co up shit creek without a paddle. Jol is now safe although he has the pressure of a top four finish to go for. To be honest he had that pressure already but unfortunately the squad is still hopelessly unbalanced and we still need further investment in the midfield. This is not Jol's fault but Comolli and if we don't make the Champions League places by May then he is equally compromised in his position as Director of Football.

Only Spurs and its bumbling board could have created such a PR disaster and questions now must be raised about Levy and Kelmsey especially as the property tycoon and general thug appears to the driving force behind this move.

If Kelsey has any honour he would resign and I think it may be time for Levy to jog on as well.

The only saving grace was that Levy had the sense to back down and not pursue Redkrapp!

COYS!

They asked Jol's to resign at this meeting he stood he ground. They do not want to pay the compension but have not faith in him. If Ramos had said yes he would have been forced out they have back tracked for now due to fan fury but Jol's on borrowed time. Lose to Man u and or Arsenal it will all start again

Well the info was spot on at the time but situations changed. Ramos said no, Levy had to back track quickly.

How do you know they asked Jol to resign, why would they do that if Ramos rejected them, this is absolute sh*t from this site, i also agree with comment made earlier, if you know so much ie. what was said in the meeting, why don't you know when the meeting was actually schedueled for, you stated earlier it was for tomorrow! Anyone else agree?

Their are no definites in football only business, so why would they pressure Jol into resigning without having a definite replacement signed, sealed and delivered... this would be totally against business ethics and as far as I know tottenham and Levy have been good at one thing and that is business for example mansion and the likes

JOLS ONE OF THE BEST MANAGERS WE HAVE HAD FOR YEARS I STILL THINK WE WILL MAKE THE TOP 4 WE SHOULD ALSO REMEMBER WE HAVE HALF OF OUR 1ST TEAM INJURED AND OUR NEW SIGNINGS ARE STILL NOT MATCH FIT I HAVE EVERY CONFIDENCE WE WE WILL ACHIVE OUR GOAL BUT ONLY IF THE BOARD GIVE JOL THERE 100% SUPPORT AND BERBATOV SHOULD RESPECT JOLS DECISION TO MAKE CHANGES 2 THE SIDE IF THEY R NOT PERFORMING ON THE PITCH

Sounds to me like like the board have the turning circle of a london Taxi.
First off Ramos has played the board for the schoolboys they are, and is staying at sevilla!
Now the board have egg on their face's, u-turn number two call in BMJ for the vote of confidence!
Martin Jol has been treated very badly in all this and the board have managed to drag the name of the club through the mud again.

Whats the problem with the site? Thae article is pretty much fair enough, it's the moronic comments that spoil it but its basically the same on all spurs sites. Ramos has committed to Sevilla until the end of the season, when Jol will probably be sacked for Ramos to come in. I eally hope we make top 4 if only so the board cant get their own way and see Jol gone. They surely couldn't sack him if he did it, but they probably dont think he can anyway, and will probably not make any more signings now to help him. Spurs have embarrassed themselves and us once again and I may support Martin Jol from now on in whatever he does and fuck Spurs, at least he has some class and dignity.

I can hardly believe that after 3 games, the board are gonna say, "thanks for your efforts Martin, but here's your P45 and we really wanna upset the players!!". Jol's in charge, the players trust and respect him and he's brought a long missing sense of self belief and passion to the club. Is Levy so naive to rock the boat now at the start of a season when he's expecting a CL place? I don't think so and hopefully most of the site readers think that too.
Let's hope we see some very public support from the board and a very loud reception for Jol next time at WHL!!

Try spell check and then tell us where you get your informed info!!!

We are Spurs fans and your bollocks even (probably be sacked) stimulates bored journo's hunting for similar bullshit. If they see it on a spurs site then they print.

Stop guessing; what will be will be and back BMJ NOW and stop posting bollocks!!

moronic yid!!!

Here’s a thought…Imagine if all this speculation and hype has been part of a grand masterplan by the Tottenham board to change the image of Spurs forever. Strong team, good manager, expecting big things and Bish!

The bubble bursts, we flunked a couple of games and all of a sudden everyone starts laughing, ‘hahaha, same old spurs’.

We leak a s*itty story to the red tops knowing what will happen, the media get everyone in a frenzy including some of the spurs faithful; people start panicking, gooners start gloating and Bash!! Man U shot down like Derby, no more negativity fom Jol as he now has STRENGTH and DEPTH in the squad, regardless of what injuries we have. Where tactical naivety was touted last season, people slowly begin to realise that it was Jol testing the water with some tactics to outwit the big four managers. Once it was proven, (spurs vs arse 2-0 at half time, spurs vs Chelsea 3-1) it was easy to revert to type as we started to play a set-up that spurs don’t play. A quick ‘defensive mentality’ flare was sent up by BMJ knowing his team could not cope AT THAT TIME.

But this year it’s different.
This year is Jol’s and the boards year to engage the masterplan. The added pleasure of realisation for us all when the media realise those of whom they have been making mugs are now making mugs of the media.

We might just make mugs of the big four trying to spoil the party with their monopolising of the league for so long and the belief that it is their right rather than their achievement to get in there.

What do you get when all these things come together… Bosh…Little old Tottenham, sitting at the top of the league come May 08 and no f*cker saw that coming. Alex Ferguson did it way back.

Now it is Big Marty Jol’s turn…

Wouldn’t that give the paper’s something to write about, huh?

P.s. complete and utter speculation so apologies to those who don't like it but I like the shelf - good work!!

'Exclusive's by John Cross' Of The Daily Mirror.

Can some one get hold of his email address so SPURS FANS can tell him what we think of him!
