Ghaly Stays!

Ghaly's transfer to Birmingham has collapsed this evening. It appears that Ghaly changed his mind at the last minute. He has been in Birmingham training with their squad all week and apparently loved it up there so the change of heart is a bit mysterious.

Rumors on FTL and COYS suggest one of two things. Either a bigger club than Birmingham have shown a last minute interest in the Egyptian's services or that he is going somewhere else with Mido. Either is acceptable to me as long as he is not at White Hart Lane come the end of the transfer window.

More likely, however, is he realised what Birmingham was really like.

COYS!

*UPDATE*

ITKs on FTL claim a training ground bust up between the squad and Ghaly. Ghaly clearly felt he was billy big boots and was winding certain players up. Bruce called a meeting and felt he was going to be a disruptive influence.

COYS!

Apparently...

"Hossam Ghaly came into training today and 'thought he was a big shot' (not my words) and started a fight with Fabrice Muamba where he ended up injuring the player, nothing serious. This then lead Radhi Jaidi and Medhi Nafti coming in to defend Fabrice Muamba and there was a massive fight.

The Birmingham team is like 1 big family, everyone is close, everyone knows each other. Steve Bruce and assistant Manager Eric Black felt that this bust up from Ghaly would hurt the team's spirits and decided against the move."

yahoo Ghaly stays, thank god for that. I thought for a minute there that the oposition midfielder may have to tackle us to win the ball (apparently thius is very dangerous cos someone could get hurt) still now Ghaly stay we can give him the ball and he can let the opposition have it. no change there then, hope Mido stay too, cos it's really mean to make defenders look silly by scoring goals agianst them!!!!!!

for christs sake just when we thought we had got rid of that pile of shite he comes back like a fu*kin boomerang. Lets hope the moodyness behind this transfer collapse means him and Mido are hopefully off to the same club...my guess is Sunderland where a certain Mr Keane will kick them into shape!

If the last anonymous would only read what the previous anonymous had written, he might be clued in to the fact that Mido has gone to Sunderland for £6M, so "we" are only down £3M on the Brummie/Egyptian fiasco.

Is there some kind of get out clause then? I mean, if he has been up there training, surely contracts would have been passed, along with fees and players registration all in the motion.

Ghaly hadn't got a work permit apparently so Bruce was within his rights to call the whole thing off. Mofo chucked the shirt to the ground. Just change teh locks in my opinion.

What a farce !

I mean that applies to Brums too. Can't they worked it out whether Ghaly would fit in BEFORE even try to buy him.

We had him for 2 years and other than the disgraceful shirt throwing incident, never heard that he caused problems.

I just can't believed how childish the 2 egyptians are.

Hope this incident is not a reflection of the spurs training sessions in general.
Not so much running at spurs session ?Is this a true state of affairs at our training ground ? A explanation why our players are such softies when the going gets tough during a match ?
I have a senaky feeling that Jol is the kind that don't really could clam down the players as Fergies do.
