Diamonds and Pearls

From COYS and FTL:

Expect Kevin Prince Boateng to sign today once terms are agreed. The medical is complete so it sounds like we just need to tie up a few loose ends.

He looks good, and by the looks of the second video he's left footed. So maybe this is the reason the Petrov deal collapsed, as BMJ had the Boating deal back on track and has plans for him on the left? Because, correct me if im wrong, but the reports that actually suggested the Petrov deal was actually close to being completed was when the Boating deal was reprtedly off?

doubt he will be played as a left winger, think more likely competition for zoks and hudds in the centre of the park, especially with zoks going off to the Africa Nations cup during the season. Still need a out and out left winger, get rid of the dead wood in the squad and splash out on ben arfa, gonna be as good as robben if not better. bring in prince, arfa and maybe davies as cover.

It's quite a disapointing book, as I felt that both Harry and Ron should a spit-roasted Hermione.

There you go...Boateng has signed, probably the last of the major signings this summer. This time, before midnight August 31st, seems the management have learnt their lesson about panic buying alla Rasiak? Lets welcome Boateng and hope he is that Steven Gerrard type player we are missing to lead the midfield. This signing is in the style of that once yearly Spurs signing we have gotten used too, where we sign a young player with lots of potential and not many of us had heard of him before we were linked with him...adds that extra spice for a very interesting and intriguing season ahead. P.S. This in no way intended to be racist, but he does look like a black version of Steven Gerrard too...fingers crossed lads!

He looks big, quick and very powerful. Sort of player we can certainly welcome in the middle of the park.

Also is it me or does he look like he'd enjoy a fight!!

(Can't wait for him to squash cess-pit fibreglass)

Happy and excited about all signings so far, let's just hope all this 'potential' actually turns into real quality

11 days & counting !!

so....whos place will he be competing for? assuming first choice is Jenas and Zokora, who needs to look over his shoulder? Where does it leave Huddlestone? Food for thought.
