Great goals, but look at what Defoe does after Bent's header. Only lasts for a few seconds. But look how he chases the Torino player...in a friendly. When you are 2-0 up... Thats not the JD we know.

Keano..what a strike... It is good to see that every individual plays for the team, there is no selfishness in scoring goals. There are a few taps in goals in all friendly games. Thats what we need though, unity in the team. Martin laat Ghaly en Mido niet meer spelen (Martin don't let ghaly and mido play anymore). Look forward to next week.

I would love to be smug and be confient of the new season until I heard that Villa and Spammers had beaten Inter and Roma... : (

It seems everyone had improved.

Read Gareth Barry played a blinder and Reo Cocker was along side him.

I love that 2 in a spurs shirt in place of Ghaly and Murphy or Tainio.

Ashton had a good pre-season...and would provided the aerial threat which even our fearsome foursome could not provide.Any chance of him becoming our 5th striker ? : )

We can get greedy can we ?

Was at the game yesterday and was really impressed by Zokora. He was everywhere in that midfield and just when you thought they were in on goal who appeared with an inch perfect hard tackle .....Zokora. I've been a fan of him from day 1 even though as we all saw in his 1st game against Bolton he had alot of work to do to settle in. I am convinced that he is going to be huge for us this season and for me is one of the 1st names i look for on the team sheet. I've read threads and comments over the summer regarding the team and how we have no ball winner. Well thats absolute rubbish, you can't expect ALL foreign players to settle in straight away (unlike Berba!) and although it took him a season (like a certain mr Drogba) to settle i think we are about to see the best of him.
